The Nightmares have started

How many of you have had the 'Book will be Awful' nightmare?

This morning I had to wake myself up from a bad dream that I was having about my book. The following things happened ...

~All that work that I put into writing the story, and it turned out to be an 82 page mini-book with giant writing to fill up the space.
~Every five seconds someone would come up to me and tell me that I got another bad review online - I looked at the websites and saw that they were all so evil.
~ I looked through the book and it was littered with typos.
~Everything about it had been edited so heavily that it wasn't my story anymore.
~Everyone I know found out it was me who wrote the book getting awful reviews online.

Ah! Don't worry. I'm sure everyone will love the book. The prompt itself sounds wonderful :) Your bad dreams will dissipate soon enough!

I hate book nightmares! I have dreams that I lose it--my computer crashes, and it's just gone. Thank goodness I back everything up!

I always have them (though they are more day-mares). No worries though!

Oh boy I have book nightmares all the time! They are truly awful. Don't fret too much, the nerves will disappear once everyone tells you they love the book :-)

You know I feel your pain! But I'm sure it will be fabulous. xx

That's how I feel at least once a day! I can really relate to the editing one, as I'm - hopefully - on the last round of edits.

Your nightmare contained every possible writing nightmare scenario. Good--you got it out of your system.

Poor you :( I've definitely been there before. I've dreamt about my own book signings where NO ONE came except for like, my mom. I think it's a natural part of being a writer! Don't worry, you're not alone!

Ok, now that you 'had' this nightmare, the exact opposite will happen!

Wishing you all the best!
